Can you take Antidepressants and effectively do a Candida Cleanse/Treat Toenail Fungus…?
I have started on a Candida Cleanse which includes a strict diet, taking oregano oil as an antifungals and taking probiotics. As well I am doing a daily treatment for my toenail fungus (topically and internally).
My doctor has prescribed me an antidepressant (Celexa) and I am worried it will counteract the work I am doing with the antifungals. This is a long process (could be for months up to a year) and I wouldn’t want to take the antidepressant if it meant voiding all the other time and effort, let alone $ the treatment of candida and my toenails is costing me!
Any answers of personal experience or professional advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
In response to the first answer, I have already asked a pharmacist who says it shouldn’t have an effect, however, I am more interested in hearing from those on the other side (natural health professionals and those educated in such) as they often have differing opinions and take things such as candida overgrowth more seriously.
